Huh, invisible braces?
Our braces are not completely invisible of course, we don’t use a magic spell to straighten your teeth. That’s why we ourselves prefer to call them transparent braces. We are talking about the aligners from Invisalign. These are plastic covers that you slide over your teeth. Because these braces are made of transparent plastic, they are almost invisible.
Braces for adults
Braces have long since ceased to be worn only by children and adolescents. Increasingly, we see adults in our practice who are unhappy with their teeth. People who are unhappy with their teeth smile less and feel less confident. The specialists at Felix & Bellus aim to give you back your smile and your confidence. Invisalign’s nearly invisible braces are ideal for that purpose.
Treatment with aligners
We begin your treatment by taking light photos, x-rays and a 3D scan of your teeth. Based on this, we will create a treatment plan and have your aligners custom-made by the manufacturer. You come in for checkups every eight weeks so we can keep a close eye on the progress and health of your teeth. Once you get through the first set of aligners, we’ll review together whether more are needed to achieve the ideal result.
What does invisible adult braces cost?
Because we only treat with aligners, we can keep the cost of aligners low for you. Because you only have to come in for a check-up once every eight weeks, the treatment costs remain relatively low as well. Depending on the number of aligners you need, the treatment costs on average between € 2,100 and € 3,200.
It depends on your insurance whether a treatment with aligners is covered for adults. Aligners are never covered by the basic insurance, but you can get additional insurance for orthodontics. You can read more about this in our blog about insurances.
